Source Possible attacks to Twitter maybe from Russia
Masive attacks that cause site Twitter and Facebook had paralysis, Thursday (6 / 
likely originated from Russia.
It is said Bill Woodcock, research director of Packet Clearing House, an organization that monitors the flow of Gossip internet traffic in the world.
“Not clear who did that, but it seems to be a party to propaganda and the other up and doing these attacks,” said Woodcock dilansir such as the New York Times.
According to him, the attack is a continuation of the Georgia conflict to increase tension between the U.S. and Russia in the virtual world. Woodcock still doubt that the attack was likely carried out thousands of the botnet to swamp the victim traffic to the site.
However, he says the attack may be carried out with the trash messages (spam) that began to infiltrate since Twitter and Facebook at 10:25 or some time before the disaster occurred.
“(Flow of spam) to increase traffic is very high that you can create a denial of service attacks,” he explained.
In this incident, attackers overwhelm Twitter and Facebook so that millions of users can not access. Even Twitter had died several hours to recover.
